Itinerary

Day 1 - ARRIVE AT PARO AIRPORT:
  • Welcome to Bhutan, known to be the place where the happiest people on earth live.
    Upon arrival, you will be greeted and welcomed you in a traditional Bhutanese way with Khadar. After that welcome tea and snacks and then proceed to Thimphu. Visit Thimphu Memorial Stupa and check in to the hotel.

Day 2 - THIMPHU TOUR:
  • Today you will start exploring the hidden secret of Asia, Bhutan. After your breakfast, you will be visiting the largest statue of a sitting Buddha and exploring Thimphu city. Thimphu City is the only capital city in the world without traffic lights, all traffic is handled by hand. Visit the Bhutan Post head office for customized postal stamps. For lunch, you will be hopping in the famous Bhutanese dumpling restaurants.

Day 3 - TRANSFER TO PUNAKHA:
  • After breakfast, proceed to Punakha. On the way, you will be stopping at Dochula Pass to view the magnificent Himalayas and 108 stupas on the hilltop. Then visit Chimi Lhakhang the fertility temple.

Day 4 - PUNAKHA TOUR - TRANSFER TO GANGTEY:
  • After breakfast, hike the Khamsum Yulley Namgyelstupa which takes around 2 hours. But while returning, you will be coming back rafting along the Mo-Chu River. Lunch as a picnic in Zomlingthang. After that visit Punakha Fortress. Then transfer to Gangtey.

Day 5 - GANGTEY TOUR - TRANSFER TO PARO:
  • Gantey or Phobjikha is a favorite of all the tourist who visits Bhutan. The Natural trial hike that you will be taking today is a 1.5-hour hike and it is through the valley and forest.
    The fresh air, the chirping birds, and the musical breeze add spice to the hike. After finishing the natural trial hike, proceed to Paro.
    Lunch at Nobding Town. After reaching Paro, visit Paro Ta-Dzong Museum.

Day 6 - PARO TOUR:
  • Today will be the most awaited day, the Tiger's Nest Temple Hike. It is approximately 5 hours hike. Difficult in hiking? Don't worry. You can opt for a pony ride till halfway. The legends say that Guru Padmasambhava, came riding on a Tigress and meditated here. Lunch at Tak-Tshang Cafeteria. After the hike, take a chance to wear a Bhutanese national dress. Take photographs. Also try archery, the national sport, and dip into the hot stone bath.
